In order to assist teachers with the delivery of the 'Come and See' programme the following sections include material that has been developed to run in tandem with the new programme

Subsequest pages also include; revised 'I can' statements, Planning grids, Acts of Worship for individual year groups as well as a revised Early Years Tracking/Record sheet (see planning section).

These can be located in the related sub-sections of this page.(Spring Term 2014 - now available)

It is hoped that this material shall further enhance and compliment the 'Come and See' programme.

If you require any further guidance then do please contact the Primary RE Adviser at: david.quinn@nottingham-des.org.uk.

Please find below a set of Assessment Focus Tasks which have been produced to help clarify both teacher confidence with regards to the Levels of Attainment as well as pupil attainment within a given strand.

You will also find a 3 year plan of future Assessment Focus tasks.

The next Assessed Topic shall take place within the first topic of the Spring Term 2014 - Eucharist - relating(see below).

It is worth noting that the next Assessment Focus task (Spring 2014) takes place within the Eucharist topic and does present quite a high level of challenge, pariculary within Years 5 & 6. For this reason, and in response to some requests by teachers, I have supplemented each task with further success criteria guidance.

In addition, I have included a series of Background notes which aim to provide teachers with further insight with regards to AT1 (ii) within the context of the Eucharist topic).

Finally, I have also included a file below relating to the 'Bigger Question' within each topic for each year goup.
