SCHOOL COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

Following changes in DfE guidance and taking into account feedback from schools we have revised our model complaints procedures for use within voluntary aided schools and academies in the Diocese.

Two policies are attached to this article, one for academies within a multi-academy trust within the Diocese and one for voluntary aided schools or standalone academies within the Diocese.

It is recommended that all schools and academies adopt the revised model procedures at their next available opportunity.

An accompanying guidance note for schools on the procedures and the management of complaints will be circulated to schools shortly and training on the management of complaints is available from the Diocese  - see separate post on this website.
